An airport is location where aircraft such as fixed-wing aircraft , helicopters and blimps take off and land . An airport consists at least one surface such as a runway for a plan to take off and land , a helipad ,or water for take offs and landings , and often includes builidings such as control towers , hangers and terminal biuldings . The most important part of the airport are the hotel , restaurant , medical center and shops because there are many of passengers sometimes spend alot of time in airport for exaple , the passengers they are tarvel with the KLM from Madrid to Doha they have to wait in the hub airports it's AMS Amsterdam international airport for 4 or 5 hours .

the main facility names is terminal . its a passengers building at an airport . In the terminal there are may thypied like passports and concourse . concourse is facilities for the passengers are provided like duty shopping , dinig , waiting area where passengers have access to their gates
Airport is a large facilty and importnat facilty which contains Landside,Terminal,and airside.To transfer passengers to another country or bring passengers and vistors. It contains many services and facilites which are provided for passengers and employees who are in the airport.
ReplyDeleteLandside is accesibal for everyone. Which plays a big role in transfiring passenger and make the processe easier.It offers many services like shops,waiting are and restaurants.
On the other side we finde airside facilites which are restricted only for passengers and airport staff. Air side is a huge area thet cintains many services for planes and air traffic control,which makes the processe more efficient as it holds large responsibilty foe tha passengers saftey.
Moreover, airside facilities have many services for aircraft.As it has the runway which is the most important part which planes use to land or takeoff,also it offers ramps,hangars,fueldepot.these services helps in the maintines of the aircraft and make the prosecce of transfering goods and people easier.

ReplyDeleteThere are 4000 airport in the world and 1500 are major international airport. Most of the countries have international airport. For example, middle East DXB and AUH, also countries that have domestic airport for example, HOU. An airport is a large facility. Its divided landside and airside areas and the terminal between them. A landside includes parking, shops and exchange. Airside area includes runway, taxiway and ramp. In my opinion the main role an airport is everything security, air transportation and support service, because without it the airport wouldn’t be safety.

ReplyDeleteNow the airport has a big different than before, for example now passengers have more protection by seciorte. Also airport has now more facility, in concourse has many shops, cafe and anything to spend passenger own free-time.
In my opinion, IATA and ICAO make airport more safely when they give each airport code.
The airport is a place for landing and departure of aircraft, usually with facilities for housing and maintaining planes and for receiving and discharging passengers and cargo . In my opinion everything in the each airport is the key role of an airport , because all parts of the airport is connected to each other and if an error occurs in a part of them affects the other parts.
